    Creating variables on the fly?

I'm trying to create variables, specifically variables of type LIST OF STRING, on the fly. For instance, if I have a list, as follows:

I want to create 3 objects of type LIST OF STRING, like so:

I've been looking at the reference operator (@), but I have yet to come up with a way of doing what I'm trying to do. Has anyone managed such a feat? If so, how?

All right, so it's not as elegant as I might have liked, but these things happen. I ended up creating a LIST OF LIST OF STRING, the first element of which is the string from the list shown above. In 4Test:

    Or something vaguely like that.

Re: Creating variables on the fly?

I think creating a list of list of string is the best you will be able to do; I don't believe it's possible in 4Test to create arbitrary numbers of variables on the fly as you put it; that is the kind of problem that lists and arrays were explicitly designed to solve.

Is there some problem with the list of list of string solution?

Nope. I was answering my own question.

Although I would still love to hear it if there is a more elegant solution.
