    Silktest 5.5 doesn\'t recognise a HTC component

    User (ivo_sterckx@yahoo.com) posted:

    Hello,

When you are using IE 5.5 you can use HTC components in you web
pages. (you are using a sort of include file, a file with an
extension .htc where you can develop your own html components like
    for example a datagrid).

If you have pages like this, silktest 5.5 doesn't see those
    components.

I've tried already with record classes/objects, window declarations
but nothing is working. Silktest sees nothing on the displayed
    screen.

Has anyone already used this technology and has someone a solution ??

    Thanks

    Ivo

Re: Silktest 5.5 doesn\'t recognise a HTC component

I have the same problem too. I have an application which has HTC components and I thought upgrading to SilkTest 5.5 will recognize these objects but apparently not.

I just don't remember if a TSE told me or Ive read it from one of SilkTest documentation that they'll support these type of components.

Anybody out there who has found a workaround or know more about this. Thanks!
