Launching the browser from non-web app.
I am testing a standalone application that launches a browser for the help system. Is there a way, as apart of the default base state to just have the browser launch when needed. Currently if I enable the extensions for both the browser and my standalone application the browser gets launched or set to active if already launched as the base state for each test case. I rather not have the browser available when it is not being used. Is there any easy way to do this without having to mess with defaults.inc. I want defaults.inc to do everything like close all windows and etc., I just don't want it to launch the browser and set it active every time.
Thanks for any help.
Re: Launching the browser from non-web app.
Make your default browser under RunTime options as 'none' and use the function 'SetDefaultBrowserType()' funtion whenever u require. U can also have different option sets.
Hope this helps
