Recommendations for concurrent remote testing
I'm looking for techinical recommendations for dealing with concurrent remote execution such that the native SilkTest logging can be leveraged.
By this I mean we can leverage the summary/indent/header info of the log file for generating a summary results page for publishing to the web.
The problems we found deal with the concurrent threads writing to the log file at different times, causing *many* indents per tescase/scrip/suite file.
If we use multitestcase, then all the testcases/suites appear as 1 monolithic testcase and we lose summary info at the suite/testcase level.
How are others handling situations like this?
Re: Recommendations for concurrent remote testing
I think you can sort your log by thread. There is an option in the Runtime options that you need to click first.
