JDK 1.3 applet - Silk do not record Java objects
User (email@example.com) posted:
I am running my Java Applet (JDK 1.3) using a .jar file. SilkTest do
not record/recognise Java objects during window declaration. I
understand from previous discussion that this is a problem due to
launching applet using a .jar file.
How do make SilkTest work with Java applet using .jar file?
We have followed the initial procedures of setting up
SilkTest_Java2.jar file in ext directory.

did u mean your applet is not using the browser Native VM, but rather the
JDK? I have run into
this situation and u have to tell SilkTest to use a Java Plugin since by
default it uses browser VM.
Make sure to check in the extension details to check 'use java plug-in'. You
can test SilkTest
with Java plug-in by running Segue\SilkTest\JavaEx\JFC11\JPI_index.html.
