    How do I declare multiple windows with different captions?

    I need to declare different windows under the same general name .
    I know some thing like this is not allowed but how can I find a way around it.

    Window dialogbox touch here to start
    Tag “Begin Order”
    Tag “Other Required”

    Then later I call:
    touch here to start.button.click()
    or:
    touch here to start.button.click()

    Begin Order window and Other required window both have a button. So by calling both of them the same I’ll be able to click the button with no problem no matter what the window is.
    The purpose of doing this is that I don’t have to have 4 different include file that only have one line( in window declaration) different.

    I like to know if a window could have more than one tag and what I mean by tag is not multi tag because what I understood from silk test help is that multitag is used only for child window not for the main one, plus the multi tags are different type of names. For example the names as a string and the ID for the window are two different type

    You can use multitags for any kind of window (from the smallest control right up to your mainwin), and you can use multitags with the same type of tag twice, so in your example you can simply use:
    (I changed the name of your window because you are not allowed spaces in the name of a window identifier).

    Hi,

    You could also use the '|' operator in the tag:

    window DialogBox TouchHereToStart
    [ ] tag “Begin Order|Other Required”

    Thanks, both using a pipe and using the multitag declaration works.
