Silk Agent for Linux?
did anyone know about a Silk Agent for Linux exists? Or did anyone know details about the communication protocol the agent uses under TCPIP - so that we can write the agent?
Thank you, Bjoern
Re: Silk Agent for Linux?
a Linux agent doe snot exist. And I don't think it's in the works for anytime in the near future. (not that I don't think that would be a great asset for Segue to investigate). They do have an agent for Solaris, and HP-UX.
I don't think that you can create an agent that easily. I'm sure that Segue's agent code is not out there for reproduction. I do think that they should release the code for the agent so that people can create agents for WinCE and Linux and maybe extend the MAC beyond version 3.0? Hope somebody out there is listening.
