    Adding Click method to Html Text Class

    I have a dialog box that belongs to the MovableWin Class in my AUT. This dialog box has an HtmlText object whose multi-text comprises of several links. Since SilkTest sees all these links as part of the multi-text of an HtmlText object and not as separate HtmlLinks, I cannot perform the Click method on each of them.

    Could anyone tell me how to add the Click method to the HtmlText class. I have read the User Manual but I am unsuccessful at coming up with the code to extend the class definition so as to include the Click method.

    You can add a new class derived from HtmlText, change all your HtmlText classes to that new class (call it HtmlWord), then add the Click method to it.

    Actually, try this:

    [-] winclass HtmlText : HtmlText
    [-] void Click (INTEGER iButton optional, INTEGER x optional, INTEGER y, BOOLEAN fRawEvent optional)
    [ ] <code>
    [ ] derived::Click( iButton, x, y, fRawEvent ) // does the operation from the derived class
    [ ] <code>

    Or the last solution , (less work)

    Also next time when pasting code try the following:

    [c o d e]
    Paste your code here
    [/ c o d e]

    without the spaces in between
    here's how it will look:
