    SilkTest 5.5 Success

Just to add a different experience to the pool, yesterday I upgraded 3 licenses at a client site yesterday from 5.03 to 5.5 in just under two hours. We obtained our .pol file from Segue, installed SilkMeter on the server, uninstalled 5.03, installed 5.5 and were able to connect and run successfully on all three of the machines.

Given the number of unpaid-for licenses in use, Segue seems justified in implementing a licensing scheme.

    IMHO

P.S. We found a bug in SilkTest 5.5(wImage.GetLocation () is broken), but there is a reasonable workaround, (wImage.GetRegionList (TRUE)[1]) will give you the URL.

    Re: SilkTest 5.5 Success

From what I'm reading, this testcase shouldn't work in ST 5.5. But it does. Maybe it's specific to the machine?

    Steve,

You're right. It does work on some HtmlImage objects. On others, it errors and exits the script, and on others it returns "".

    John,

Thanks for the info. Cripes, I use GetLocation quite a bit in some tests. I suppose I can Find-Replace, or hold off on running some testcases until a patch comes out that fixes the problem.
