    problem with hidden div recognition

    User Josh Clark (jclark@pmsoftware.com) posted:

Our AUT is a web app that uses ASP/XML. There is a hidden div ("context
menu") that appears when right-clicking an item in a nested table ("list
area"). The context menu doesn't show up on Silk declarations at all. Its
HTML ID is "menu1" but I haven't been able to successfully declare it in the
code either. Has anyone experienced similar problems and possibly have a
    workaround solution?

    Thanks,
    Josh Clark

Re: problem with hidden div recognition

Do you want to invoke this menu, or do you want to be able to declare this item?

I think you might be able to invoke it without trouble with Click(2) as long as you can access the item that invoke your menu1.

Re: problem with hidden div recognition

I need to invoke the menu and then click a specific HTMLText object within it. Invoking it isn't a problem although SilkTest sometimes confuses which item it's supposed to be right-clicking because the items are in a nested borderless table. But assuming for a moment that this is not a concern, how do I get access to the HTMLTexts inside of the DIV?

I'm looking into an issue where Silk isn't recognizing object within a DIV, similar to your problem. Did you ever find a solution? Thanks.
