5.0.3x certainly does. I'm not certain about 5.0.2 though.

    Re: SilkTest 5.0.2

5.0.2 has a help topic called "Swing Quick Tour" that you might want to look at. I'm not sure if the demo is limited to versions of the JDK before 1.2, or if all of SilkTest 5.0.2 has that limitation (I'm about to try it with the 1.3.0 JDK)

    From the Help File:
    --------------------------------------------
This hands-on quick tour is designed to quickly get you comfortable testing a sample standalone Java application developed with JFC Swing controls, using Java support in SilkTest. We recommend that you run this application using either the Java Development Kit (JDK) version 1.1.7+ or the Java Runtime Environment version 1.1.7+.

Note This quick tour was not designed to run with JDK version 1.2+.

    Re: SilkTest 5.0.2

Yes, I have actually used 5.02 with Swing applications. I would recommend 5.0.3.2 though. It is a big improvement both in terms of performance and bugs. (It still has lots of bugs though).

    I don't know about the 5.5 though.
We will not upgrade to 5.5 until Segue fixes all of the problems with SilkMeter.
If they don't fix it by the time we upgrade our JDK, I think we will have to discontinue using SilkTest.
