    Silk Test Default Base State

    When Silk Test tries to invoke Default Base State it tries to close Grid and hangs up and this is the message I get:

    Current agent call: Grid.BuiltinClose (TRUE, TRUE)

    Any help on this issue is really appreciated.

    Re: Silk Test Default Base State

    I've had this kind of thing before I think; when silktest is getting your app back to it's base state, it tries to close all of the child windows it can see. Sometimes it finds a window which it fails to close properly - hitting OK on the close confirmation dialogbox when it should hit Cancel or something like that.
    When it says "<windowname>.BuiltInClose(true, true)", it is saying that because you haven't defined a Close method for that window (in your window declaration), it is trying the normal route - hitting the 'X' button in the top-right corner of the window. Our aut has some windows where this button is disabled, but silktest fails to spot this and so will apparently halt because it's waiting for the window to close.
    The way to sort this out is to identify the window it is trying to close (normally easily identified as being the currently active window), and over-ride the Close() method for that window. If you don't currently have a window declaration in which to override the Close() method, you will need to write one.
    So - go to your Grid window, work out the most sensible way of closing it, and implement that as your over-ridden Close() method in the window declaration. Let us know how it works.

    You may also want to check the settings in the Agent Options dialog / Close tab.

    From SilkTest main screen:
    - click on Options menu
    - select Agent...
    - click on the Close tab

    You might want to try adding the following inside your wMainWindow delcaration.

    const lwLeaveOpen = {Grid}
