    VerifyProperties ( ) syntax

    I do a "ctrl alt" verification on a dropdown combo box.

    i'm trying to understand the syntax of VerifyProperties .

    what is the purpose of the quotes ""
    and {...}?

    code:

    VerifyProperties ({...})

    [ ] ""
    [-] {...}
    [ ] {"SelIndex", 3}
    [ ] {"SelText", "Oracle"}

    Re: VerifyProperties ( ) syntax

    Hi,

    Open c:\program files\segue\silktest\4test.inc and search for:

    type WINPROPTREE is record
    type WINPROP is record
    type WINPROPLIST is LIST OF WINPROP
    type PROPINFO is record

    The VerifyProperties method accepts an argument of type WINPROPTREE, which consists of a STRING, A LIST OF PROPINFO, and a LIST OF WINPROPTREE

    Good luck.

    I usually use the Verify () or VerifySafely () functions instead of VerifyProperties.

    Hope this helps.

    Re: VerifyProperties ( ) syntax

    RAUL John is right.
    First note the syntax for declaring and initializing LIST.Consequently what i suppose(note suppose) that verifyproperties internal implementation is of LIST and therefore {...}.
    As a matter of first "",i think it is used for FUZZY verification and the next come the available properties of object that invoke verifyProperties(all these properies are at the same level thats why u get [-].
    I hope this helps.
