    HtmlPopuplist.Select (Strange behavior)

    Problem synopsis:
    Using the following code:
    SequenceISP.Table.DataFields.Alignment.Select(sLin e)
    [ ] SequenceISP.Table.DataFields.Search.Click()
    ---------------------------------------------
    The item(sLine) was properly selected; However it was not properly executed. i.e The Alignment(HtmlPopUplist) is a filter. Silk properly select it but when the search button is Clicked, the item selected was not properly executed. No exception occured. Anyone seen this behavior.
    I've tried all other options like using Typekeys() and still does not work.
    Note: It work fine if i do it manually.
    Environment: Silk 5.5 (DOM), IE 5.5, NT4 sp5

    thanks,
    Vic

    Re: HtmlPopuplist.Select (Strange behavior)

    Are you selecting an option from a
    popupList to affect the search result?

    Are you sure that you are selecting everything correctly? It sounds like your selection does nothing(to the search).

    You can try to disable the table recognition,
    then access the popuplist normally. ex.:BrowserPage.HtmlPopupList().Select()

    Re: HtmlPopuplist.Select (Strange behavior)

    I'm using DOM and i doubt that you can disable table recognition. I can only set the borderless table recognition under extension to ZERO.
    This option set does not work in DOM.
    BrowserPage.SetUserOption ("GroupTables", FALSE, USEROPT_DEFAULT).
    Is there other that i'm not aware of.
    Also the 'Tab' then 'ENTER' does not work.

    thanks,
    Vic

    Re: HtmlPopuplist.Select (Strange behavior)

    Try Using after setting the focus to the Popuplist

    [-] PopUpListSelectHelper(window wPopUpList, String sName)
    [ ]
    [ ]
    [ ]
    [ ] List of String lsPopUpListContents
    [ ] Integer iPosOfFldReqd2BSelected
    [ ] Integer iPosOfCurrSelection
    [ ] Integer iReqdTabs
    [ ]
    [ ]
    [ ]
    [ ]
    [ ] Browser.SetActive()
    [ ] lsPopUpListContents = wPopUpList.GetContents() // Getting the contents
    [ ] iPosOfFldReqd2BSelected = ListFind(lsPopUpListContents,sName) // the entry to be selected in the list
    [ ] iPosOfCurrSelection = ListFind(lsPopUpListContents,wPopUpList.GetSelText ()) // the current selection
    [ ] iReqdTabs = iPosOfFldReqd2BSelected-iPosOfCurrSelection // the number of tabs required to select the required.
    [-] if iReqdTabs > 0
    [ ] wPopUpList.TypeKeys ("<DOWN {iReqdTabs}>")
    [ ] sleep(3)
    [-] else
    [-] if iReqdTabs < 0
    [ ] wPopUpList.TypeKeys ("<UP {Abs(iReqdTabs)}>")
    [ ] if wPopUpList.GetSelText() == sName
    [-] else
    [ ] LogError("Field Name : '{sName}' not found in '{wPopUpList}'.")
    [ ] exit

    Hope this helps
