Recorder and JavaxSwingJSplitPane
Sometimes the recorder generates different lines on the exact same screen. Why is it seeing "JavaxSwingJSplitPane" as a custom window?
recorder code :
Administrator.JavaxSwingJSplitPane.JavaJFCChildWin "test app").CustomWin "[javax.swing.JSplitPane]#1").
Administrator.JavaxSwingJSplitPane.JavaJFCChildWin ("test app").JavaxSwingJSplitPane("#1")
Re: Recorder and JavaxSwingJSplitPane
I find it most helpful to do a record class of every custom class I can find on a given GUI, and to do this with Show All Classes and Show all Methods checkboxes checked. Once this generates its code, I uncheck those checkboxes and do my Record Window Declarations.
This seems to work in most cases.
Java is just such a moving target, and while I get really frustrated trying to get Silk to work consistently and reliably with it, I do understand why it is so difficult for Segue to keep up with that.
