    TypeKeys into VNC client window

    I'm using VNC client application
    on Windows to connect to a Unix box.

    I wanna type some commands on the VNC XTerm window.

    When I record the testcase, Silk generates DialogBox.TypeKeys statements .

    When I play back testcase , Silk reports a PASS but nothing is typed into the XTerm window.

    Is there a way to make it work ?

    Only thing I can think of is:

    use Desktop.TypeKeys()

    What are you trying to do with vnc.

    Re: TypeKeys into VNC client window

    I'm using SilkBean to connect to a Unix machine and test a Java App..

    I want to monitor the script while it's running- that's why I'm using VNC.

    I used the DOS library from John Green
    to type keys into Dos BOx. Maybe some similar utility is needed.

    I did not study John Green's code.

    Why is it that Silk alone can not handle
    dos box? Why did a utility have to be created.
