To delete all the Directories and Its sub directories

I am looking for a Silk Test Program that will delete all the directories, sub directories and all the files.

Any help on this would be appreciated. I have to use this for a uninstallation program. To cleanup all the files that install shield leaves behind

Re: To delete all the Directories and Its sub directories

I am assuming you are on a wintel machine
if so you can take command of dos
    Try this:
    SYS_Execute("Rd c:\complete directorypath\ /q /s", sReturnValue)
    Start with quotes
    The dos command is Rd
Enter the complete path with all the backslashes and a space
the q switch and a space
the s switch and a space and end quotes
the sReturnValue is optional. but will let you know if there was a problem
*Note this will FAIL, if any file in any subdirectory is being used

Re: To delete all the Directories and Its sub directories

    Devu,

There is code to do that in the downloads area of this site. I'm sorry I don't recall which file does it. I wrote a similar routine for the exact same purpose you are dealing with before I knew the downloads had such a method.

Here's the code from the downloads area...
The SYS calls here are handled by the agent, so I'm not certain if the silkbean could handle this for removing folders on an install like Solaris or Linux. Not sure what you are testing.
