BEST approach for porting Scripts for IE5.5 to Nav 4.75
What's the best approach to port existing scripts developed for IE5.5 on NT to Navigator 4.7, with the least amount of work?
a) Current scripts developed using DOM object; However, Netscape does not support DOM unti 6.0
b) Updating Tag for Netscape is a minor issue. Most problems are with Tables and the nested objects.
Would love to hear your advice?

Automation Expertise provides a library of web-testing functions that may help you. The library was developed to solve problems like how to click links which may or may not be in a table. The library includes functions like LinkClick (sTag) and ImageClick (sTag) and LinkPathClick (sPartialURL). The LinkPathClick function will click a link based on a partial URL, rather than a caption, which eliminates the need for translation of the link when testing the site on multiple languages.
These functions and many more in the library will all find the object whether Silk sees it on a table or not. You can optionally pass the frame in a multi-framed web site.
The library is available free at www.automationexpertise.com.
Hope this helps.
