    GetLocation() with Netscape

    Hi all,

    With Netscape, I am running GetLocation() for individual frames and it always returns url of the main page. (I tested this for Ns 3 and Ns 4.5). It works with ie4. Did someone had this problem? Is it a Silk bug?

    this does not help :

    [-] testcase toto()
    [ ]
    [ ] list of window lwAll
    [ ] window wItem
    [ ] list of string lsProperty
    [ ] string sProperty
    [ ]
    [ ] window wParent = GetActive()
    [ ]
    [ ] lwAll = wParent.GetChildren()
    [ ]
    [ ] print(lwAll)
    [ ]
    [-] for each wItem in lwAll
    [ ]
    [ ] print("******* {wItem.GetLocation()}")
    [ ]
    [ ] lsProperty = wItem.GetPropertyList()
    [ ]
    [-] for each sProperty in lsProperty
    [ ]
    [ ] print("******* {wItem.GetProperty(sProperty)}")
    [ ]
    [ ]

    Re: GetLocation() with Netscape

    well, I just spent all day (took me a couple hours) figuring this one out (for IE 5.5):

    [ ] BrowserPage.PopupSelect (2, 2, "Properties")
    [ ] Properties.SetActive()
    [ ] Agent.SetOption (OPT_VERIFY_ENABLED, FALSE)
    [ ] Print(Properties.DialogBox1.BrowserChild("General" ).HtmlTextField("(URL)|#5|$37").GetText())
    [ ] FileWriteLine (PagesFile, Properties.DialogBox1.BrowserChild("General").Html TextField("(URL)|#5|$37").GetText())
    [ ] Agent.SetOption (OPT_VERIFY_ENABLED, TRUE)
    [ ] Properties.Cancel.Click(1,5,5)

    at least in IE5.5, you have to access the right-click popup menu -> properties menu. you can't use file -> properties. that gives you the frameset. also: the text field is not enabled, so it's important that you turn off verify enabled (that was what took forever to figure out). hope that helps ~
