*** Error: Window cannot be scrolled into view

I randomly get the following error message:

*** Error: Window cannot be scrolled into view.

It is annoying me as the object is visible.

I even used ScrollIntoView (), but I still get this error.

Can anyone help me as to why I am randomly getting this?

And is there a way to turn this off?

    Thanks...

Re: *** Error: Window cannot be scrolled into view

Try SetFocus() on the object of interest. It will scroll to the correct place for you. Also disable a couple error checking stuff, like is app exposed, enable, and and active(it's in the agent settings, in a tab called verification). You should also maximize your window, so you don't need to scroll all the time.

Also you can close silk and reboot your machine. Sometimes it solves weird problems.

Re: *** Error: Window cannot be scrolled into view

I've come across this error recently; I solve it each time by adding a 'Sleep()' statement before the line that crashed the script - or in this case, gave you the 'window cannot be scrolled into view..' error.

I was getting this error because the script was running too fast and the Java applet on the page didn't have enough time to load. When the agent got to the step, it was trying to 'scroll into view', a page that was not yet there.

    Hope this helps,
