Testing with LAYERS using Silk Test
Has anyone successfully tested "layers" using Silk Test?
We are able to create the declaration but it does not seem to work once we start scripting. Any ideas?
Re: Testing with LAYERS using Silk Test
If you are talking about X, Y, Z coordinates in a web based app, yes. The trick is not to use Index based tags on the page because they will change each time new objects are brought forward. Also you can wildcard the Tags for objects such as button images that may have differing names in different states Ie a botton may be taged b_details_on in one state and b_details_off in another, in this case i would just tag it as follows:
Note that if you are using control ID's for the tag in Silk 4.? they would return an internal control number that would change when the page was reloaded.
Hope this helps,
