NOt seeing any objects at all

    User Bill Watkins (wwaat@yahoo.com) posted:

    Hello all

I am working on a online banking application. The problem that I am having is that Silk Test is unable to see any of the objects in the application after the login page. All it sees is the page itself and none of the objects. I am running 5.03 on NT 40 SP 5. The App server is Net Dynamics. I am thinking that maybe the funky session id that Net Dynamics uses is confusing Silk. Has anyone else came across this and if so how did you fix it.

If you are testing web with IE 5.5, try it with SilkTest 5.0.3.2. If you do not have that version, download it (free update) from Segue site. I had the same problem, but after downloading it, it is ok.

Are there any java applet in your app? You are using NT and IE so it's a good idea to use DOM. Even though it's not what I like the most because it doesn't work correctly for win2k.

Did you try to Record|Action, Record|Windows Declaration, and Record|Class.

    Good luck.
