    Using Spreadsheets with SilkTest

    I have the following problem:

    Using windows 98 excel 97
    1. Create spreaDSHEET
    2. ODBC configure System DSN
    3. In 4TEST Script:
    hdbc = DB_Connect ("dsn=datasource1")
    hstmnt = DB_ExecuteSql (hdbc, "SELECT * from ???")

    ??? wants to be a tablename

    worksheet pagename and filename don't work

    a spreadsheet created from a table in MSACCESS works fine.

    Any ideas?

    There is a thread that's called DB_CONNECT to Excel spreadsheets (or something like that) that has the answer in it. Also, if you search on Excel you will find a lot of info about connect to Excel through ODBC.
