Right now, I'm launching silkbean
with "java segue.server.SilkBean"
I'm not too familiar with Java.
Is the SilkBean class file contained in the silkbean.jar file?
If so , why does it fail to launch if you only type "java SilkBean"?
Re: SilkBean class
You're correct on both counts. 1)When using the bean on the Solaris platform I have to pass it the fully qualified path as you stated in your post. 2)If you open the archived file, you'll see that you "should" be able to call it either way. It is located in the root of the archive as well as /segue/server/. It is rare that I can get it to run with out the full path.
However, on the other issue, the actual SilkBean.class is located in the SilkTest_Java#.jar file. The silkbean.jar only contains an awt.properties file.
