Setting application state with IE
I was wondering if this has happened to anybody else.
I created a testcase and tried to set basestate, which should open Internet Explorer and go to the specified URL for the webpage being tested.
What happens is that it will open Internet Explorer, but will not open the page.
The strangest part is that if I take out the word 'testcase' and run it, then it works.
Thanks in advance,
Re: Setting application state with IE
This sounds awfully similar to a problem I was having.
I would set a default base state and then set another state. Initially my script would start with the default base state, then should have set the browser with the other state later on, but it didn't happen.
I can't remember what happened exactly, because it was a few months ago and probably with version 5.0.3 so who knows it might work now. I didn't bother trying to find out why, so just did TypeKeys in the URL of the Browser... crap I know.. but it was a workaround I needed just to get the job done.
