    Drag -n- Drop to empty JavaJFCTreeView

    I need to drag and drop an item without using coordinates. 4Test allows a BeginDrag(#, object) and an EndDrag(object). However, the EndDrag has to drop the dragged object *onto* something. I need to drop it into an empty JavaJFCTreeView. This will essentially be the first item in the Tree. Since that is the case, there is nothing to drop the item on. Any ideas on this one?

    How about this:

    // get coordinates of top left corner of treeview
    RECT pos = ...JavaJFCTreeView ("#1").GetRect()

    and then use:

    // drop the object using the coordinates determined above
    EndDragAt () using the coordinates from pos.

    rg,

    Thanks. I had attempted the use of coordinates (something I avoid at all cost) but never by preceeding it with getRect(). That's a great thought. I'll give it a shot. Thanks!
