I have also had the Agent crash with an access violation. Also, sometimes java.exe will also crash at the same time with an access violation. Furthermore, on more than on instance Explorer.exe will consume over 98% of the cpu cycles after the crashes. I am running WinNT 4.0 SP4, with 128 MB. I recently upgraded the jre to 1.2.2.
Any ideas as to why?
Re: Agent Crashing
I have had exactly the same experience as you. My machine is 450Mhz, 256MB WinNT SP4, brand new. Yesterday I attended the presentation given by a consultant - Michaell. I met AJ from BB. What he said is useless like don't use SP5(not supported so far), don't use Desktop, don't open too many windows, ... Those are the basic, we don't need to be told. And then he said the problem is possibly because of the application under test. I have no words to say.
My a little experience is to kill EXPLORER.EXE and FINDFAST from the Task Manager, that will help a little.
