Hi everybody!
I had and still have problems with object recognition. My application is written with VBScript, JavaScript and HTML.I am working with IE 5.0 with DOM.I made the following changes:
In domex.ini:
[Options]
ShowVirtualColumns=FALSE
UseBrowserClosestText=TRUE
ShowXML=FALSE
ShowHtmlHidden=TRUE
ShowHtmlText=TRUE
ShowHtmlMeta=TRUE
ShowBorderlessTables=0.00
ShowHtmlForm=TRUE
and in extend.ini
[iexplore.exe#5]
domex.dll=TRUE
And I set Domex.ini BorderlessTables setting to 0.
It seems that I did all possible changes and modifications but I still have problem. Adding DOM helped to better recognize some objects, but not the combobox. Before adding DOM Silk recognized objects as HtmlText or HtmlPopupList. Here it is code example:
BrowserPage.BrowserChild("SomeName").HtmlPopupList ("SomeName:\#1\$3").Select("SomeName")
after adding DOM and all changes that I explained before the code for the same action is:
SomeWebSiteNameTM.BrowserChild("SomeWebSiteName(TM )[4]").Click(1,136,95)
It is look like that any object (textbox,combobox, pushbutton,checkbox,radiobutton)is recognized as
SomeWebSiteNameTM.BrowserChild("SomeWebSiteName(TM )[4]").Click (coordinates)
the difference is just in value of coordinates.
After recording Window Location I pointed the cursor on the combobox, Silk recognized it as CustomWin(Combobox#4).During recording Window Declaration Silk [Ignored] this CustomWin.
May be somebody can help me!
Thank you
