    Unix testing using silk 5.0.1

    Aloha Everyone,

Has anyone used silk 5.0.1 to test TCL/TK based GUI over Unix?

We are able to test a gui over unix using vectors. However the vector coordinates need to be redefined for each instance a gui is shutdown and brought up.

    any solutions?

Re: Unix testing using silk 5.0.1

I have had some success using Silk with TCL, however it's not any easy task. From your request I'm assuming you are using vector/coordinates because Silk doesn't see your GUI objects. Does Silk see the object if focus is set on it? If so you must navigate to the object before interacting with it. There are several ways to handle the navigating part - tab, arrow key, etc. Feel free to email me offline.
