    Testing a COM based API

Is it possible to test a COM based API using SilkTest? I would need to be able use the COM based objects' methods and properties to verify correct operation.

Re: Testing a COM based API

    I'm no COM expert, but...

I think the only support for COM is the ActiveX support. An ActiveX object is a COM object, correct? If you are looking at an ActiveX object, Silk can see methods and attributes.

If you are talking about a C++ app, I believe you're out of luck.

You may want to post a question about using the extension enabler for your app. I'm not clear on what this may provide, but there might be something useful there.
