Test Automation between several Virtual Machines
I have to realize some test automations for my company and it's hard to find an answer to my problem.
So, I would know if i can make in one test scenario all the different steps from a test that requires the utilisation of several VMs.
If it's not possible, what can I do ?
Maybe install Silktest on every VM i need and make part of the automation on each VM, to create a final scenario which collect all the parts to make the whole test.
I don't know at all...
Thanks for your help.
Seems like you have answered your own question, to execute multiple Silk Test scripts in different VMs you will need to install Silk Test in each VM. The next question is how will the tests be executed, this is where something like Silk Central comes to the rescue, this has the ability to not only schedule the tests on each machine but to gather the results back to a central location to give you an overview of the execution plan.
Thanks for reply eggbox,
I go check SilkCentral right now !
Have a good day !
