Does SilkTest work with web+desktop based application
We have a web cum desktop based application, where the desktop part is initiated by web part(Platform is .NET WPF+ some telerik controls).
My question is whether I can use Silktest for this flow - Login to the web-part and then initiate the exe (from the web-page) and continue flow in the WPF desktop application?
SilkTest have always work with web+desktop based apps.
For handling .Net and WPF controls, no problem.
For Telerik controls, you may have to check for some type of Add-in or else you'll have to use some work-around like using Low-level recording or Class mapping (you'll have to experiment). When nothing else works, contact the SilkTest Support Team as they are very good (then --- I don't know now).

You may have to read up on the use of the .opt feature if you do need to keep switching from one app to another.
