How to create a global Datafile in vb.net that can be accesed from multiple scripts
I am using Silk Test Workbench with VB.NET.
So my goal is to have a master script which contains the loading of the active datafile and then calls small components located in VB.NET classes. What I want to eliminate is sending in parameters to the functions or subs. I also want to be able to write to the active data file from the functions or subs without returning a value then doing this. I want to elimnate any additional code outside of the subs and functions which contain most of my scripts. I currently can't figure out if this is even possible. Does anyone have a solution or any ideas using global variables? All my attempts have failed.
Below you will see a example of what it looks like now but the issue is the parameters I have to send in (want to eliminate this and also be able to write to the active data file from the SomeFunction without redeclaring the activedata using statement.)
Using data As ActiveData = Workbench.LoadActiveData(GlobalVariables.TEMP_DATA FILE)
