How can we email Silktest Result HTML files using Lotus Notes?
I am creating silk test Test Plan Results in HTML file
I have to send(email) the results html files using Lotus Notes. or Is there any other way we can email silktest TestPaln Html files?
If it is possible can you please share your plans(code).
Sorry for the formating.
Here are two e-mail Functions I have. The First one is pretty much the old way I did it in Test Partner.
I haven't sent an e-mail as HTML, but You should be able to attach the document to it. I used this to attach a screen shot when I got an error (failed) script.
The second one is more of a .NET way of doing it. The problem I had with this is gmaill kept marking the e-mail as suspicious. I still got them. but it had a weird warning on it.
For me I just send the e-mail message to our e-mail server which runs through google. I'm not sure if your network is set up the same way.
I haven't actually been using this much with Silk Test because I'm not sure how to catch and send off errors like I could in Test Partner.
Public Module SendEmailModule
'Dim _desktop As Desktop = Agent.Desktop
Public Sub Email(Recipient As String, Message As String, Optional Fro As String = "From@webaddress.com", Optional Subject As String = "", Optional attachment As String = "")
Dim emailMessage As Object = CreateObject("CDO.Message")
emailMessage.To = Recipient
emailMessage.From = Fro
If Subject = ""
Subject = "Sent from SilkTest " & FormatDateTime(Datetime.Now, DateFormat.GeneralDate)
emailMessage.Subject = Subject
emailMessage.TextBody = Message
'If attachment <> "" Then
' emailMessage.AddAttachment = attachment
emailMessage.Configuration.Fields.Item("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendusing") = 2
emailMessage.Configuration.Fields.Item("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserver") = "smtprelay.?????.com"
'emailMessage.Configuration.Fields.Item("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserverport") = "25" 'This is the default, not need to set it
'emailMessage.Configuration.Fields.Item("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/authenticate") = 1
Catch e As Exception
Public Sub SendMail(Recipient As String, Message As String, Optional From As String = "From@webaddress.com", Optional Subject As String = "", Optional attachment As String = "")
'send the email
Dim insMail As New MailMessage()
.From = New MailAddress(From)
If Subject.Equals(String.Empty) Then
Subject = "Sent from Silk Test 2013 " & FormatDateTime(Now, DateFormat.GeneralDate)
.Subject = Subject
.Body = Message
If Not attachment.Equals(String.Empty) Then
Dim strFile As String
Dim strAttach() As String = attachment.Split(";")
For Each strFile In strAttach
Dim SmtpMail As New SmtpClient("smtprelay.?????.com")
Catch e As Exception

I am evaluating Silk Test Workbench 15.5 for Automation SAP for the first time and am new to Automation.
Have you created the Silktest Result HTML file, If yes. Request you to share me the information / process / code...which will help me for my evaluation.
