    Silk Test run command line commands

    I have a process that I do in Dos (CMD) to create a file.

    I thought I could automate it in Silk Test. I can't get Silk Test to recongize the Dos/CMD window?

    Any way to run a Dos command in silk Test? Like file /t output.test

    How do I even set up an Application Configuration?
    I can seem to even Identify the window.

    Do you have an example of using the ConsoleWindow?

    You won't be able to use a Visual test to automate the command prompt but you can use a .Net script, look at the ConsoleWindow object, e.g.
    Code:
    ConsoleWindow.TypeKeys("cls<Enter>dir<Enter>")
    Dim s As String = ConsoleWindow.GetContents()
    MsgBox(s)
    This types into the first command window that it finds, if one is not running it is started.
    //*eggbox
