    Silk not recording a class

    Hi Everyone

Silk is not able to record a class properly. I am having a web and client server application. When i am testing for web there is a active-x component which does have a OLEMSFlexGrid class. But silk is not displaying either the properties nor the methods associated with that class. Has anyone encountered this problem / know how to overcome it, please let me know.

    Hi,

I had the same problem with Windows ME. Which operating systems are you using? For Windows ME Silk will not recogninze OLEMSFlexGrid. But for other Operating systems like Windows 98, NT and 2000, it works for me.

    Hi Yamini

Thanks for ur reply. I am using NT, but i am not able to see it properly.
is it because i am testing for browsers too?

    Thanks

    Hi Sandeep,

Did you try to add your application under the extesion. Go to options and select Extensions. Then Click new and select exe of the application you are testing.

    This might help.

Re: Silk not recording a class

I cannot help you with your primary problem, but I can say that the fact that you are also testing with browser is not likely the root of the problem. I have one client app written in Java, one client app written in C++, and also have to use the browsers. I don't have any conflicts between any of these.

Re: Silk not recording a class

    Hi Yamini and Costigan

Thanks for your replies. For me silk(ver 5.0.2) is able to recognise the olemsflexgrid class. but it is not able to give its corresponding classes and properties(using capture all classes fn).
I need to access a particulr text by the row no and col no. My application is added in the extension enabler. It was working fine a couple of months back. So i was just wondering if i was missing any settings.
