JFCComboBox.SetText and 126.96.36.199
I have used the SetText(string) method on JFCComboBox successfully in 5.0.3 since I have upgraded to 188.8.131.52 it seems to be silently failing to Set the Text on the ComboBox.
Anybody with similar problems or using this method successfully in 184.108.40.206
Re: JFCComboBox.SetText and 220.127.116.11
I usually use the Select() rather than SetText() with JavaJFCComboBoxes. Select is like using the mouse to look at all of the choices, and picking the one that matches.
I am not positive, but I think that SetText() is like typing a few keystrokes in a combo box to bring up the choice you want. Jave JFC does not handle this well. (My developers tell me it is a Swing bug)
This would explain the "silent" failure too.
I also have problems with Combo boxes where SilkTest only sees garbled pointers to each choice, rather than the text of the choices.
For these, I need to Select() by item number.
Do a GetContents() on the box in question to see if this is the case.
