    dynamicly generqated browser links.

Hi, I was hoping someone might know. I have a browser page on which I have dynamically generated links. I need to have a method that would click on everyone of them and verify that no error comes up. I can't declare this page in the include file because page changes daily. If I use method AgentGetChildren (), I don't only get the links, but also HTMLImage and HTMLText. Does any one knows how to code this?

    Thanks a lot,
    Roman

This was sent in to late for the Forum merger, so reposting

What you basically need to do is use GetChildren() to get just the type of object you want (in your case, all HtmlLinks, but it may be HtmlImage you want). The objects may also be in tables if it is a web page, so recurissivly calling the funtion until all objects are found would be needed.

So, I made a general funtion that does just that. Give it the WINDOW you want it to search, and the Object type you are looking for (HtmlLink, HtmlImage, etc), and it returns a LIST OF WINDOWS containing the infomation you need. This is kind of long... Email me if you want the testcase file.

How about the Link Tester tool that is in Version 5.5. I think it can be called from within Silk code as well.

You can find in the Tools menu.
