    How to achieve version control using SilkTest2008

    Hi All,

    Recently two new people have joined my project for Automation. I need to do version control.

    How can i achieve this if i am using SilkTest2008. I tried using VSS but couldn't achieve.

    Kindly suggest.

    Originally we used Rational Clearcase, but now we're on Subversion.

    We currently use TortoiseSVN from http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/

    Try to use GIT or Mercurial

    Pretty much so any version control software that can handle text files should work. You probably won't be able to integrate it directly into the SilkTest IDE, but that isn't a big deal.

    And also remember to safe all files in the same format for all team members (I mean either all save files in collapsed state or not) ( all grouped by +)
