    Re: HTMLLinks

    It is very hard to answer your question without more information like, can the object be seen by SilkTest, and what is it doing instead of clicking on the link?

    Thanks,

    Do a small thing. Try to record it with Record Mneu /Actions and see whether Silk returns the equivalent statement like HtmlLink("#id").Click (0. If yes then it is recognizing your control.

    Re: HTMLLinks

    HI Everyone

    Thanks for your replies. Sorry couldn't get back to you guys soon. My problem is this, Silk is recognising the HTML link as a link, but when i try to click on the link it says mouse co-ordinates out of the window.

    Lana I did try your suggestion, but didn't work out well.

    Any suggestions would be helpful

    Thanks

    Hi Sandeep,

    Have you tried removing the coordinate parameters from the Click () method?

    If you wish to use the coordinate parameters, may be you should try something like,

    RECT rectLink
    integer iX
    integer iY

    rectLink = Link_Identifier.GetRect ()

    iX = rectLink.xPos + (rectLink.xSize / 2)
    iY = rectLink.yPos + (rectLink.ySize / 2)

    Link_Identifier.Click (iX, iY)

    This should click on the centre of the link.

    I hope that this helps.

    John.

    Re: HTMLLinks

    Is the link wrapped to multiple lines? If so, Silk has a problem clicking on the link. Try wLink.Click (1, 3, 3) to click in the upper left corner of the link.

    I'm not sure this is your problem, but sometimes with wrapped links, I've had to resort to retrieving the URL from the link with STRING sLoc = wLink.GetLocation () and then Browser.LoadPage (sLoc)

    Hope this helps
