Silk 2009 R2 Open Agent XPath - object recognition
I have worked with Silk 2009 R2 and XPath on a legacy product. It worked fine. Now, I am trying to create scripts against a new product (new from ground up). SilkTest seems to have a hard time finding a unique identifier for objects in the new product. I cannot figure out if it is SilkTest or the program. I CAN find the ids in Firefox with Firebug. So, I am pretty sure the property is there. I can't get it with SilkTest.
Can anyone help?
Re: Silk 2009 R2 Open Agent XPath - object recognition
for the browser support there is are black lists of attributes and attribute values which tend to be unstable. Maybe the attributes you want to use are listed there - which would cause them to be ignored for locators. If that is the case, remove them from the black list (can be found in the recording options under browser).
