    combining client/server and browser testing

I'm sure there have been such discussions before, so please forgive me.

We have just begun scripting tests for our web components. It seems to be an issue configuring Silktest in such a way that client testing can be done in the same script that browser testing is done. If anyone would like to explain their sheme for doing this or if you would simply refer to a previous thread that served as a very good tutorial on the topic, please do.

Re: combining client/server and browser testing

My primary app is a client app but I need to use the browser for verifications. I have had no problem doing this. I literally just tried it and it worked fine. Could you provide more info on exactly what your issues are?

Oh, maybe the problem is in regard to the Silk recovery system? I use DefaultBaseState for the browser windows and my own BaseState for my client app. I won't go into any more detail now in case this isn't the right path.
