How to continue test from the point where reboot happened?******!

I'm trying to do the automation of the internet web application installation. The installation has two phases, after the first phase is done, the machine will get rebooted to set up some values. After that the machine will be set to auto-login and the second phase of the installation will start from the point before the reboot happened. I've runned silktest script and agent on the same machine, and finsihed the first phase by using commmand "partner -q phase1.t ". The remaining task now is how to continue the test from where it was interrupted. The problem is that if I use command "partner -q phase2.t" to test the second phase, the silk will still start another installation from phase 1 instead of testing phase 2 of the interrupted installation. How to handle this? Do I have to run Silk script and the agent on seperate machines? Thanks in advaned for your helps.
