Testing Menu Bar and Window Icon
Does Silktest need to have seperate scripting to test the Menu bar and Windows Icon that have the same functionality? I was considering a Record and Play script and perhaps edit it if necessary to get the correct results. I would then incorporate these with the regular test.

Re: Testing Menu Bar and Window Icon
I'm not 100% sure about what you mean by "menu bar" and what you mean by "window icon". I'll take a little liberty here and respond as if you had said "menu" and "toolbar".
Not necessarily. One savvy approach might be to write the testcase(s) to take an input parameter that indicates whether you start by picking a menu item or clicking a toolbar button.
For operations that invoke a dialogbox, I put this "how" parameter in my Invoke methods for the dialogboxes, with the parameter being optional and then of course a default value provided in the method itself. And I don't limit this to only menu picks and toolbar clicks either. I include all possible ways to invoke. Others might include the use of hot keys or the right-click popup menu.
