Time for Mr. Rick master tester to eat a little crow. It has been bought to my attention that I was less than professional in one of my posts recently.
I won't go in to what I posted (since I re edited it), but I will say that "upon reflection" the individual was right.
I am very glad they bought this to my attention because I happen to think after 4 years of automated test with Silk and 2 with WinRunner that Silk is an exceptionally good product.
Also even though I still dislike certain things about Segue I want them to stay in this business very much. Bottom line my input to a forum like this should really be technical, and professional.
So many thanks to this person for bringing this point of protocol to my attention. Sometimes I can be a tad judgmental esp when I have had a rough day in the automation heap!
Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast!

I complain too but I agree that SilkTest is exceptional product.
This is especially true when you consider that they need to continuously try to keep up with the latest (buggy) operating systems and development environments.

Ditto for me regarding Segue and SilkTest.
And kudos to Rick for your professionalism. Many of us, including myself, have strayed down that same path. Yours is the first world-wide cleanup that I've seen. Thank you for setting an example.
