Does Silktest5.0 supports TCL/TK (Tool Command Language/Toolkit)?
We wanted to record test cases on TCL/TK(Tool Command Language/Toolkit)GUI.Silktest is recognizing the controls as 'Customwin' and the caption of the control is not captured. We were not able to verify the caption of any control. Anyone worked on it or knows about it can help us.
Thanks in advance.
Re: Does Silktest5.0 supports TCL/TK (Tool Command Language/Toolkit)?
The fact that SilkTest recognises the objects as CustomWins means that it can see the object, but it does not know the internal class names. However, because you can see the objects, you may find that 'class mapping' the objects will work. By doing this, you are telling SilkTest to treat the TCL objects in the same way as standard window objects.
For more information on class mapping, see the Supporting Custom Objects section in the Customizing SilkTest chapter in the User Guide.
I hope this helps,
