What Protocol to use? No network, direct connect
AUT is on remote machine which has no network connection (SilkTest Agent Only running) and connects directly to the PC (running SilkTest Full version) via an ethernet cable. Both machines running on XP.
What protocol do you use to make the connection between the PC and this remote machine? TCP/IP or NetBIOS?
We got it to work with NetBIOS before using Classic Agent but, having problem with the Open Agent connection.
Re: What Protocol to use? No network, direct connect
Sorry, the issue is not with the protocol but with the Open Agent properties.
The infoservice.properties and agent.properties are located (by default) in the c:\Document Settings\All Users\Silk\SilkTest\conf and c:\Document Settings\<user name>\Silk\SilkTest\conf folders.
Can these properties files be located somewhere else in the case where the Default folders in c: drive are not available?
Can they just be copied or put in the same folder as the Agent?
