Diff - Client-side measures in real-time on vs off
Hey Silk Folks,
I'm currently learning SilkPerformer and wanted to understand the difference between having the profile setting "Client-side measures in real-time" on versus off for a increasing workload test using 4 different profiles. User Guide does state "Check the Client-side measures in real-time check box to enable SilkPerformer to retrieve real-time client-side measurements for use in Performance Explorer" The part I'm having problems is seeing the difference. I seem to get the same result whether that toggle is on or off.
Some related questions -
1) How does it change my results by having it on and off?
2) By real-time, to they mean I can monitor client side activity during real time or see Profile X's page time during real time using the performance explorer during the test? (if no, can I do this some way during test?)
3) If I toggle the "Display Timers" on the monitors tab during the test, is that the only way to see the response time during the test for a particular user in the output window? (my aim is to see a particular page's average response time in a graph as the test is going to see if any spikes in page times occur).
Thanks in advance for any help!
