Does anyone have any experience with Silk using SYS_EXECUTE to start a Windows batch script (.BAT)? I am trying to execute a batch script that will use RSH to execute a command on a unix server.

INTEGER iReturn
iReturn = SYS_Execute ("d:\rshtest.bat")
if (iReturn != 0)
LogError ("FAILED")
else
Print ("PASSED")

RSHTEST.bat:

rsh MYHOST -l MYLOGIN MYCOMMAND;

MYCOMMAND:

date
sleep 241
date

It appears that Silk has some internal timing of four minutes that makes it look like a failure after that time period. If I run this same command but make the sleep=239, it will work. Also with any time period (even 30 minutes) the rshtest.bat file will work directly from the command line.

Any suggestions??
