Running a service using SYS_Excecute() Function
I have custom application service say "My Service" is the service name.if i run the custom service from my command prompt [net start My Service] this wont work, but i need to enter the command as net start "My Service" i.e within quotes. This applicable to Service names having spaces.
When i need to start this command using my silk test i used the SYS_Excecute() command. SYS_Excecute expects a string within quotes
So my line would look like SYS_Excecute("net start "My Service" ") which throws a compiler error
How can i find the solution to start my custom service which can only be started by a command which has quotes using SYS_Excecute function.
Re: Running a service using SYS_Excecute() Functio
You can escape double quotes in a string with two double quotes:
SYS_Excecute("net start ""My Service""")
